From the moment you arrive at the entrance gates of Renvyle House and meander down the avenue and into the welcoming warmth of this old country house you’ll realise just how special this place is.

The hotel is situated on 200 acres and is one of the most romantic places in Ireland. Set in the wilds of Connemara on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean with the magic backdrop of the Twelve Bens mountain range. On the grounds, facilities include a private lake, 1km of beach gardens and woodland walks. In fact W.B. Yeats and his wife came on their honeymoon to Renvyle House and returned to stay many times afterwards.

Renvyle House is a magical place and together with award winning food and service it makes it the ideal place for your wedding. Depending on the size of your wedding and due to the size of the house it allows you to have exclusive use of the hotel and grounds, for larger parties, for your special day. Every tiny detail will be looked after for you which leaves you time to catch up with friends and family and enjoy your day.

There are numerous complimentary facilities for you and your guests to enjoy during your celebrations at Renvyle House which include golf, tennis, swimming, boating, fly-fishing, snooker, boating, lawn bowls, croquet and canoeing.

There are other facilties on site which are available and will incur an additional charge such as Clay Pigeon Shooting and the various treatments at our Simran Relaxation area. Anette Mulkerrins our qualified masseuse and yoga instruction, specialises in Ayurvedic body and beauty treatments and has a pre-wedding treatment for both the bride and groom.

Our management and staff make sure that your stay, along with your guests, is a very happy and memorable one. There is great attention paid to details and we have friendly and helpful staff all set in a very unique location.

There are 68 bedrooms at Renvyle House which comprise of standard rooms and a number
of superior suites and suite apartments.

The dining room can accommodate up to 180 people for the wedding meal.
