Ronan has been taking photographs all his life. He received his first photo-award in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in 4th class at the age of nine – a clear indication which path his life should follow.

He studied Film Production at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, graduating Magna Cum laude in 1998, returning to Ireland in the summer of 2005.

He has a unique style; his manner puts people very much at ease.

He is easy-going and brings out the best in his clients/subject. He prefers to shoot in the documentary style with a zoom lens and an uncanny eye for beauty and detail, blending into the background as much as possible.
He has several awards for short films shot on film stock, video and High Definition.
