I had to let you know how thrilled we were with Conor and the guys at our wedding reception in the Wineport Lodge on 7/1/7. The standard of music and showmanship were something else! Many of our guests had a dilemma over whether to dance or sit and enjoy the show (personally I had no such problem and Robert and I boogied our socks off).

Just want to say thanks a million for doing a great job the other night at Citywest. As you know, we were determined to have the very best entertainment for our guests and we looked at various Rat Pack style shows both in the UK and Ireland. We are in no doubt that we chose the best and well done on a really super performance.

I can happily say that I was 100% thrilled with the service Connor and his band provided. They arrived bang on time on the night and seemed to be set up within minutes. I'm sure people are afraid that the band arriving and setting up will be a very noticeable "break" in the evening, but I barely even noticed!
As you know, our first dance was "Mack the Knife" and the lads absolutely nailed it. After that, I don't think the dancefloor was empty all night. Connor's stage presence is fantastic and his banter with the guests and with the rest of the band was great. I actually had to sneak upstairs at one stage and change into my "wedding runners" because my feet were so sore!

During the band's break, we had all our guests outside to set off sky lanterns. I'm sure we were probably gone a lot longer than the band would normally break for, but if we were, it made no difference whatsoever, because the dancing resumed at full tilt as soon as everyone came back inside. Connor and the lads actually ended up playing for about an hour longer than they were scheduled for, which was very unexpected, but absolutely brilliant!

So many people came up to me that night, the next day, or in the time since the wedding and asked who the band were, and said that they thought they were fantastic, which was great to hear because the music is such a huge part of any wedding.
Connor was the consummate professional, a pleasure to deal with and an extremely friendly person to boot, and I would have no problem whatsoever in recommending him to anyone who is looking for a band. In fact, I just hope I get an excuse to book him again in the future!

We just go back to the US late last night so we are still recovering.
To give you a bit of feedback .. where do i start..! Some of our relations that havent been seen dancing in ten years wouldn't get off the floor. The older crowd who used to socialise in dance halls were stunned that a modern day band could sound so good and authentic and at least 4 of the younger crowd have decided that dance lessons for themselves are a must.

It was absolutely brilliant.

All the guests raved about the band ie so much so that I had to assure everyone that I'd include contact details in the Thank You cards.

Hi Guys,
It will come as no surprise to tell you that the band were nothing short of sensational! We have been inundated with compliments from our guests, and I personally thought that the music and atmosphere created by the band was incredible.

I have only 2 regrets from Friday night.. 1. That I wasn't able to duplicate myself and just stand and watch to 'take in' the brilliance of the live performance element of the guys, at the same time as dancing my socks off.

And 2. Next time I would get one of those 'CAMELBACK water backpack' things over my dress! I was dying of thirst for most of the night because I didn't dare leave the dancefloor. I really wished I could have paused the band so I didn't miss a second of the performance for drink breaks etc!

Seriously though, they were so fabulous. The singer was really great (sorry Conor, but I am sure he would give you a run for your money!!) and all the players were just so good too.

I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend the band to anyone in a flash. Being a music teacher and wind player myself I have extremely high expectations of musicians and really it takes a lot to impress me...but your band did it hands down!

From the beginning of the booking process with Lorna, to the chats with Conor, right through to the very end of the night with the band, 'the Legends' have been an absolute pleasure to deal with!

Please thank everyone so much for their efforts, talent and sheer brilliance! You offer an outstanding level of service and professionalism, and will most definitely be hearing from 'Mr & Mrs Bagnall' again!

Hi Lorna,
We're just back from honeymoon, so enjoying married life so far!! We were more than happy with how the band went on the night. We've had more than one person say it was one of the best weddings they had been at in a long time. I think that was in part due to the wonderful music.

Everyone was refreshed at how different it was to a 'normal' wedding band. I also had two people of totally different age groups bend my ear about how brilliant the band were for at least ten minutes during the night. I'd also like to point out that these are not the kind of people who pretend they like something...very straight to the point kinda people!!

We had an absolutely brilliant day and that was in no small part added to by the band. We'd like to thank them for providing such wonderful entertainment for us and our guests, and will be thoroughly recommending them to every engaged couple we come across. Before I go we spotted Connor singing the national anthem at the Dublin match on Saturday (in an irish pub in Rome...Stephen is a Dub). Disappointing game but we did have a wee laugh to ourselves that our wedding singer was singing for a full house at Croke Park...we'll be pointing that out in future!!
